JULIE CANGIALOSI

Julie Cangialosi is currently “Mrs. Connecticut America 2019” and competed at the Mrs. America pageant in Las Vegas, NV this past August. She was honored to win the coveted National Publication Award.

Recently Julie made history competing at the Mrs World pageant as the first contestant with the title of “Mrs New England”.  There she was able to compete with women from around the world.  She was very proud and honored when she heard her name called as a semi-finalist in the Top 20.

She is leveraging her title as Mrs Connecticut as an opportunity to increase awareness and encourage understanding of pregnancy loss and miscarriage. As the mother of a “double rainbow” (a child born after two pregnancy losses), her hope is that women do not suffer their loss in silence. As a board member of the CADE Foundation: Savannah’s Fund she has also helped give the gift of family, through IVF financial grants, to other families who have struggled. To date she has helped raised over $160,000 and 6 beautiful babies have been brought into the world.

When Julie is not championing for her favorite causes she can be found traveling with her family (over 40 countries and counting!), trying new recipes, and taking her children to major city museums and theatre productions.
